Marc Bouyer is a French character designer, visual development artist, and 3D modeler. Originally from Marseille, France, he now lives and works in London, England. He is a member of the S.T.E.A.K. Kollective, and has worked for companies including Nickelodeon, Ankama, Golden Wolf and Feed me Light.

Just like Anthony Vivien, of S.T.E.A.K. Kollective, Bouyer studied at Supinfocom in Arles, France. He was the Co-director and Character Designer on the short animation Salesman Pete.

Bouyer has worked as a Director for Flaunt Productions, Character Designer for Golden Wolf, Nexus Productions and Visual Development Artist for Nickelodeon.

Bouyer and team were working on Muffin Jack & Jeremy. A vibrant, off-the-wall animated series centered around a crime-fighting duo, one of which is a chocolate muffin. The show was commissioned by Ankama Animation and began production 2011. It was originally scheduled for release this year, but I believe the project has now been dropped. Which is a real shame when you look at the care and enthusiasm that went into it.

More recently, Bouyer worked on a unique advert for skincare. Kiehl’s – A Husky Story centers around Jim, a small quinoa husk, following his “journey from his home on the quinoa farm to then be a fundamental ingredient in the new Kiehl’s Micro-Peel product.” Typical of a S.T.E.A.K. Kollective project, it is cute, funny and masterfully executed.
